About

Deanna has over 10 years of experience helping clients design innovative curriculums across a variety of different learning platforms. She has aided educational institutions create design processes, curriculum, and online learning experiences.

 

Prior to launching Abrams Educational Consulting, Deanna worked in the classroom as a high school mathematics teacher. Mathematics has always been a passion of hers, and the classroom experience was invaluable in helping her see what students need in order to make online curriculum successful.

Deanna graduated in 2010 with a Masters of Arts in Learning Sciences from Northwestern University. She received her Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and Secondary Education from the University of Maryland (2009).

Deanna works and lives in the northern suburbs of Chicago. She  works with educational institutions all across the country. She primarily does her design work remotely from home, but is able to assist clients in business development activities, workshops, trainings, and more on-site.

When not designing educational experiences, Deanna loves running, cycling, yoga, baking, photography and spending time with her husband and three young boys.
